A Break in the Music

This original oil painting is on a wood panel and is 16 x 20 inches plus frame.  The frame is a beautifully handcrafted wood frame.  

An afternoon concert inspired this painting.  It was a beautiful afternoon, and we were sitting outside enjoying the country music and a few beverages.  During a break, the main singer reached down for a sip of her favorite drink.  

I loved the light on her boots and the beer bottles, plus the amplifier and the racks of cowboy hats in the background complete the story.
